Tell us about yourself

I am passionate about driving change and continual improvement. This is both from a business perspective but also personal perspective and when not working I spend my free time immersed and honing my skills across multiple water sports from windsurfing to kitesurfing and more recently wing foiling.

What is your current role with I-Fulfilment, and what responsibilities are associated with the position?

I joined as Finance & Commercial Director back in 2018 and continue in this role today. My key responsibility is working closely with James Bartlett (Owner Manager) to set and deliver on I-Fulfilment’s strategic plan and ensure resources are efficiently and effectively used. My responsibilities are varied day to day, as you may expect from working within an SME, and turn my hand and flex to the requirements of the business on any particular day from finance matters to HR matters to agreeing commercial arrangements to marketing initiatives to IT process improvement, etc.

What attracted you to work with I-Fulfilment, and what was your background?

The opportunity to work with an entrepreneurial minded owner and management team with technology and proprietary software (namely BladePRO) at the heart of the business and a desire to deliver best in class fulfilment services to eCommerce brands.  My career started within a “Big 4” accountancy firm where I qualified as a Chartered Accountant and where I cut my teeth before obtaining experience in industry and more latterly practice where I advised from a financial due diligence perspective on over 120 acquisitions across a whole host of sectors. My varied career experience has been invaluable in developing I-Fulfilment as a business over the last 5 years and will be in the future too.

What do you enjoy most about working at I-Fulfilment?

The team is great and whilst we all work hard the key is still to have fun and enjoy going to work each day.

Who is the most inspirational person in your life, and why?

There are business and sports personalities who have achieved greatness but for me I an inspired by people who are genuine and treat others how they would be wanted to be treated themselves.  This is the golden rule I try to live my life by and instil in my two kids and people I work with.
